I get alerts from my virusscanner about viruses in the Pinjo temporary directory. How is that possible?
Pinjo uses the temporary folder ( ./temp ) to store the messages it receives. They will be deleted again upon ending connection.
If you enable the virusscanning in Pinjo, it will use the temporary file for checking on viruses itself.
The virus cannot do any harm yet, since it is still packaged in a mailmessage. If a virus is detected the file is deleted and the mailmessage will be rejected. An errormail is sent to the user who sent the message.
To prevent these alerts from your virusscanner, exclude the Pinjo temp folder from being scanned. Check your virusscanner help on how to do this.
